Patriotic Indians will have every reason to get shocked at the comments of congress leaders and spokespersons branding Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev as RSS proxies on the ground that they had the picture of Bharat Mata in their stage and they chanted Vande Mataram, a slogan that inspired many freedom fighters to go to the gallows for the sake of the country. Equally shocking is the fact that the media and the intelligentia of this country's stoic silence for this act. One cannot believe it is this party which fought for the indepenendence of this country from the british rule that has stooped to this level and indulging in cheap appeasement politics. The indian electorate should understand that this is an insult to their intellect and give a befitting response in the polling booths in another 3 years time.
